Dealing with your relationship

So I read in a magazine the other day that when a couple sleeps in a full size bed, they only have 27 inches of space for themselves.  Thats the same amount of space as a baby crib!  I sat there thinking back on the times when my husband and I first got married and had a full size bed.  Yes, we were cramped, but it worked somehow.  Eventually, we got a queen sized bed but I remember things changed slightly.  With that extra space came a distance.  We no longer joked around before falling asleep by playing footsie or tickling each other.  We no longer held each other as we fell asleep.  If we had an argument beforehand, we were no longer forced to remedy the situation before bed.  We all no how hard it is to snuggle up to someone when you're mad, and having the space of a queen gave us the ability to get in bed angry without coming close to one another.  It's well known to never go to bed angry as you will carry that anger to the next day.  Now I'm not saying to get rid of all your queen and king sized beds.  What I am saying though is to pretend you are in a full size.  At the end of a long day, nothing feels better than to lay down and rest your eyes with your loved one.  Don't lay there talking about the day, but use that time and the closeness to tell your significant other how much you appreciate them.  Instead of spending your 30 minutes before bed watching tv, spend it in your bed.  By doing this, you will go to bed with a clear mind and with lifted spirits.  You will have a better nights sleep due to lower stress and wake up with a new outlook on your relationship.  It's funny how something as simple as the idea of a full size mattress can change your marriage.

If you have any other ideas of simple changes that can have a big effect on your relationship, please leave a comment letting us know!

Overage alert

If you have the 8/28 P&G insert, on the first page are coupons for Vicks Vapor rub.  They are specifically $1 off ANY one Vicks product and a $3 off ANY two Vicks products.  At Walmart, Vicks cough drops have been seen as low as 87 cents.  That's .13 overage with the $1 coupon or $1.26 overage with the $3 coupon.  This cough drop deal can also be done at Walgreens, where they are said to be a $1.  If you are using the $3 coupon there, buy 3 cough drops and get them all free.

Great deal and a good stock up item because the weather will be changing soon so we may be experiencing some sore throats from colds!  But NO shelf clearing guys!!

Sorry guys!  Seems like this weekend really messed up my schedule.  I've had so many things that got backed up and I had to take the little one to get his shots yesterday, so I took it easy on the blog.  I woke up extra early this morning to get a head start on catching up with things, and I think everything is done!

For the few feebies I've found these past few days I will just add to the master freebie list.

Last week I bought the Optic White toothpaste and decided to start using it yesterday.  It says whiter teeth in a week so I'm going to see if it lives up to this expectation.  This review will simply be for fun because I want to :)

I also plan to start adding fashion and food posts.  I will probably just make a new tab for those posts so their not jumbled in with my freebies and deals.

OK! We're back on track and it feels good!
